Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 May 2026
1. The basics
PWTL ("Pint with the Lads", "we", "us") is a social platform for adults to meet up for a pint and a chat. By using PWTL you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. You must be 18+
You confirm you are at least 18 years old (or the legal drinking age in your country, whichever is higher). PWTL involves coordinating meetups in pubs and other licensed venues — it is not for minors. We reserve the right to remove accounts we believe are under-age.
3. Be a sound lad
You agree not to:
- Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten anyone
- Post hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory content
- Share illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or graphic violence
- Impersonate someone else or create misleading profiles
- Spam, scam, sell, or promote external services
- Pressure anyone to drink, use drugs, or do anything they're not comfortable with
- Share other lads' private info (real address, phone, photos) without consent
Break these rules and your account gets nuked. We don't owe you a warning.
4. Meet safely
PWTL helps you arrange meetups but we don't vet other users. Always meet in a public venue, tell someone where you're going, trust your gut, and don't share personal information you wouldn't want a stranger to have. If someone makes you uncomfortable, block and report them.
5. Drink responsibly
PWTL is about the craic, not the lash. Know your limits. Don't drive after drinking. Look out for the lads you're with. If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol, contact Drinkaware.ie.
6. Your content
You own what you post. By posting it on PWTL you give us a licence to display it to other lads in the relevant group, crew, or chat. We can remove anything that breaks these terms.
7. No promises
PWTL is provided "as is". We do our best but we can't guarantee the app will always work, that other users will be sound, or that meetups will go to plan. You use it at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for anything that happens to you, your stuff, or your relationships as a result of using PWTL.
8. Changes
We can update these terms. If we make material changes we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use PWTL after changes means you accept them.
9. Get in touch
Questions, issues, or want to report something serious? We're working on a proper contact channel — until then, use the in-app report button.
